Dr.J.Russell Willis
Dr. J. Russell Willis is an Endowed Professor of Sociology at Grambling State University.
He has professional experience in the following areas: Substance abuse and Substance Abuse Treatment, Counseling & Clinical Sociology, Rural Health, Public health Policy, HIV/AIDS, Minority Health
In 2002, Dr. Willis served as a Fulbright Scholar at Fudan University, in Shanghai, China.
His research interest includes; health disparities among minorities and the larger population. His Ongoing research includes: A longitudinal study of Poverty in the Delta and the Texas Borderlands, in conjunction with colleagues from LSU, Texas A&M and Mississippi State 2006 to present.
